What we offer
We help to prioritize the people affected by organized violence – mainly refugees and asylum seekers.
It is men, women or children who have experienced or witnessed an act of organized violence. They have significant symptoms of psychological distress. They are ready to talk to a mental health professional. We also offer our services free of charge to family members who need support.
Psychosocial Interventions
Assessment and prioritization of the applications of psychotherapy. Orientation of individuals and families according to their needs, to community or institutional resources.
Psychotherapy
Individual psychotherapy (adults, adolescents, children) or group : a helping relationship; craft activities.
Massage therapy
Massage therapy for adults who have been affected by the violence, and who are referred by their therapist.
Training to stakeholders

Three steps
Our service is mainly in the asylum-seekers a pending status, and the refugees sponsored during their first year in Canada, which are covered by the interim federal health Program (IFH).

Reference
Provide the reference form the RIVO, a medical prescription for psychotherapy with the diagnosis of the person, and a copy of the document of the claimant.

We offer first 10 sessions of psychotherapy that, depending on the needs, can add 10 other sessions – a new prescription is required.
