I am a psychologist of Brazilian origin, living in Canada since 2019. I have been part of the RIVO team since 2021, where I pursued my internship with families, adolescents and adults through the equivalency route at the Ordre des psychologues du Québec.
Currently a doctoral student in psychology, I’m interested in attachment bonds between parents and children in a migratory context. During my internship, I was deeply moved by observing how migration-related stressors and traumas can weaken parents’ emotional availability. This motivated me to devote myself to researching interventions that support parental sensitivity and promote secure parent-child attachment relationships.
