RIVO: Intervention network for persons affected by organized violence
Thirty committed therapists.
A multicultural team motivated by social justice.
Hundreds of asylum seekers and refugees helped each year.
RIVO promotes the rehabilitation and integration of new arrivals and any other person who has been traumatized by organized violence, whether of political, social, criminal, identity-based, or religious origin.

They need you
They have suffered torture, rape, or persecution because of their social or political involvement, or because of their sexual orientation or religion.
Then, they found refuge with us in the hope of starting a new life.
Psychological support is the first step towards their well-being and integration into our society.

Our services
We work primarily with asylum seekers and refugees by providing them with individual therapeutic support.
We also do group interventions through artisanal activities and more, to complement the psychotherapeutic support.
Are you a therapist?
RIVO is a multidisciplinary team of practitioners who are willing to support each other with kindness, to help each other and to foster the common humanity of all those involved through a unanimous concern for the well-being of the population served.
We invite psychologists who are members of the Ordre des Psychologues du Québec and psychotherapists who hold a permit issued by the Order to join us.
