Clinical Lead – Montréal, Part-Time

Who we are

RIVO is a Montreal-based community organization whose mission is to provide clinical consultation services to people who have experienced organized violence – asylum seekers and refugees dealing with complex trauma, including the effects of torture and persecution. These individuals are referred to us by physicians, specialized nurse practitioners, and other health and social service professionals.

RIVO fulfills its mission through the dedicated work of a multidisciplinary team made up of an administrative team, approximately 35 external therapists, psychology interns, candidates for the title of psychotherapist and psychologist by equivalency, psychosocial and group workers, and a massage therapist.

The role in brief

The Clinical Lead plays a central role in the quality and consistency of services offered to RIVO’s clientele. They oversee the clinical supervision of the therapeutic team, ensure that practices comply with OPQ standards, and serve as a key clinical resource for the entire RIVO network.

This position requires a deep understanding of psychotherapy with individuals carrying complex trauma, the ability to exercise compassionate and rigorous clinical leadership, and comfort with the management responsibilities inherent to a supervisory role.

Position details

  • Position type: temporary salaried position (2 years, with possibility of extension)
  • Hours: 15 hours per week
  • Compensation: $38/hour
  • Work mode: hybrid (in-person and remote)
  • Location: Montréal
  • Start date: to be discussed, ideally September 2026
